Pittsburgh, Pa. – Jan. 16, 2014 – The Robert Morris University women's hockey team went shopping for the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh over its bye week.
On Nov. 29, 2013, the Colonials held a fundraiser for the Children's Hospital during their game against Maine. Fans made a donation instead of paying a normal admission fee, and those funds were used in last week's shopping spree.
Robert Morris raised $700 in the contest against the Black Bears.
The No. 8 Colonials finish non-conference play this weekend against No. 10 Quinnipiac. The series between the two ranked foes kicks off tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. from TD Bank Sports Center.
